After months of speculations actress Meena is finally going to get married. The mallu actress known for her homely appeal, is engaged to Vidyasagar who is a software engineer from Bangalore. The engagement ceremony took place recently her residence in Chennai. The function was a very private affair and so not many details are available. Reportedly, only very close friends and relatives attended the engagement.
The finalized wedding date is July 12. The marriage ceremony will take place at Tirupati. After wedding ceremony, on July 14, a grand reception will be held in Chennai. The marriage of Meena has come after a long time of rumors about her engagement.
Meena Durairaj is one of the most established actresses of South Indian cinema. She made her debut as a child artist in Sivaji Ganesan's Nenjangal. This mallu beauty has acted opposite almost all biggies of Tamil, Telugu and Mallu film industry including Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal, Rajinikanth, Vijayakanth, Ajith Kumar, Prabhu Deva, Sarathkumar, Mammootty, Jayaram, Suresh Gopi, Prashanth, Sudeep, Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna and more. She has one of the largest filmography to her name which include some 175 movies! These movies include every possible genre.
Actress Meena has made her presence felt on small screen too. She has acted in a couple if TV serials including Anbulla Amma, Houseful, Lakshmi and more.
